Camp Coderpillar is a weekly summer camp
that combines beginner coding, hands-on
science, and other creative activities!
Camp Coderpillar was created by 19-year-old Izzie Heath, an experienced coding instructor and former summer camp leader. Based in Coles Crossing, the camp is designed for kids ages 7–12 to explore coding and other STEM activities in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

Campers will design and code their own custom mobs, tools, blocks, and more using MCreator, a kid-friendly modding tool for Minecraft Java Edition***.
***Note: Minecraft Java Edition is required to participate. It can be purchased here if you don't already own it.
Alongside their coding projects, campers will enjoy daily Minecraft-themed science and craft activities like:
By the end of the week, each camper will walk away with a fully customized Minecraft mod—and a deeper love for coding and creativity!
Campers will blast off into a week of space-themed creativity, coding, and science! Using Scratch, they’ll design and code their own interactive space game—dodging asteroids, collecting stars, and piloting a rocket across a scrolling galaxy.
In between coding, campers will get hands-on with awesome out-of-this-world science projects like:
