minecraft mod makers

july 7 & july 9-11

Campers will design and code their own custom mobs, tools, blocks, and more using MCreator, a kid-friendly modding tool for Minecraft Java Edition***.

***Note: Minecraft Java Edition is required to participate. It can be purchased here if you don't already own it.

Alongside their coding projects, campers will enjoy daily Minecraft-themed science and craft activities like:

  • Making colorful Minecraft “slimes”
  • Growing borax “diamond” crystals
  • Building our own exploding creeper rockets!

By the end of the week, each camper will walk away with a fully customized Minecraft mod—and a deeper love for coding and creativity!

code the cosmos: space camp

july 14 - july 17

Campers will blast off into a week of space-themed creativity, coding, and science! Using Scratch, they’ll design and code their own interactive space game—dodging asteroids, collecting stars, and piloting a rocket across a scrolling galaxy.

In between coding, campers will get hands-on with awesome out-of-this-world science projects like:

  • Creating galaxy slime
  • Making fizzing moon rocks that bubble and dissolve
  • Launching mini rockets powered by baking soda and vinegar

By the end of the week, campers will have built their own space-themed game in Scratch and explored scientific concepts through fun, hands-on experiments.

Stay tuned--more camps will be announced soon!
